Sorry it’s been a while, been a bit of a quiet summer. So in case you missed it the BIG NEWS is I’m having a baby in January. I couldn’t be more excited!

So before that happens I’d like to get some new music out to everyone, but to do that, I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Hey Everyone

I’m really excited to announce that I’ll be a part of the Wink FM @ Summer Concert on Fri June 25th over in Ft. Myers, FL. There are a lot of really cool bands and Alex Band (lead singer of The Calling) will be headlining.

I haven’t been over to the west coast of Florida since I played Germain Arena a few years ago with O.A.R. and Sister Hazel. If you’re around, please come on out. Should be a fun time. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that all the acts are playing acoustic. Good times!

We are just about finished with moving JesseYoungMusic from one site to another.  As such we have updated the site completely from scratch.  New updates will be updating shortly.  Many of the new features will  be a Twitter section, a Tag Cloud and an updated lyrics section with Jesse’s most recent songs from Everything But CD.  Further down the line we’ll be adding an Music Player, FaceBook integration, and a user section where fans can upload posts and pictures.  Stay tued.

I will be broadcasting via the web, performing a live concert for Cyberland. With people in Michigan, Venezuela and beyond always asking when I’m coming to do a show, I thought this might be the easiest way to do something EVERYONE can make.

So I’ll be broadcasting via USTREAM. On Wed. Feb 24th at 8pm, log onto the link below and you can watch me play. There is an option for people to be able to chat with me, but I think you need to have an account with Ustream for this feature. If you choose to sign up, you can chat, ask questions and even request songs.

So we are back from our trip to Venezuela. I can sum up the trip in one word. WOW! Everyone there was so amazing. The band and I had such a great time. Thank you to everyone at the Cevaz and the Sambil for letting us be a part of such a cool festival. They treated us so well and I can only hope we can go back one day soon.

A big thanks goes out to all the other bands we played with…Kio, Oublie One, Llave de Fuego, Juan Pablo Lobos, Remczy, Mango Funk and Blueberry Jam. Such an honor to share the stage with all of you. Let’s do it again sometime!!!

We did get video which I hope we can post soon. Keep your eye out for it. There are some pictures available on myspace taken by a few fans.

So again, thank you to everyone. We had a blast and hope everyone enjoyed the show as much as we enjoyed playing. Thanks to the crowd for sticking around for us and cheering for us like they had been fans for years. It was an amazing experience. Thank you!!!

That’s right, I am happy to announce that I will be playing my first show in another country. I’ve been luck enough to have been asked to play the Cevaz-Sambil Rock & Pop Festival in Maracaibo, Venezuela on Saturday September 26th. I’ll take pictures and give a full report when I get back.
