New Music Update
Hey guys
Hope this finds everyone doing well. I know I promised new music in 2007 and I intend to deliver. I am proud to announce that my new 3-Song EP called "Not Letting Go" will be released on April 7th.
I am pressing a very limited run at first for the release at Rick's American Cafe. Come out to the show and be the first to get a copy while their available.
For those that can't make the show I will be posting the new songs on MySpace soon and they should be available through me or some other way online as well. I'll keep you posted.
I am very excited about having the new songs done. These songs were made possible because of some free studio time I won in a battle of the bands competition last year. I would like to thank Audacity Recordings for being a great studio and great people to work with. It also would not have been possible without the help of the 3 other amazing musicians that played on this record.
Omar Taverez - Drums -This guy is the real deal, one of the best drummer's I've ever seen. I love watching this guy play the drums.
Jett Beres - Bass - Some of of you may know Jett as the bass player from Sister Hazel. I know Jett as an amazing bass player who was kind enough to play on my record in between touring the country. Jett is an awesome guy to work with and be around and a few of his ideas on the songs really made them the songs they've become.
Ryan Haire - Guitar - Ryan is an amazing guitar player who was able to come up with some really cool guitar stuff. He makes it all look easy.
The first song is called Your Mind. There is a version up on MySpace right now. It is the version of one of the first times I played the song live almost a year ago. It has come a long way and I think it really rocks.
I am most proud of the song "Who I Should Be?" I have really begun to love playing this song. This song is very personal to me, but I also think that it is a question that everyone asks at some point. Am I Who I Should Be?
The last song is called Holding On and this is a love song about finding that one person who completes you.
That's the update for now. Hope to see you guys soon.
